BIOGRAPHY

Joselin Fogelberg is a 22-year-old songwriter, artist and music producer based in Stockholm, Sweden. She is signed with the Swedish record label Ninetone Group, since February 2024.

Her music has been featured on major Spotify editorial lists, played on national radio and she has performed on a number of scenes such as P4 Nästa Riksfinal, Kafé 44, Nordstan Festivalen and Kafé de luxe. Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, Joselin moved abroad with her family when she was seven years old and grew up in the US, Indonesia & Malaysia.

While taking the summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she decided to pursuit music. After her high school graduation in Malaysia, class of 2020, she completed the one-year song-writing program LIMPI (Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries) in Norway, also known as «the stargate school».

In September 2021 Joselin moved back to Sweden to study music at Linnae University in Växjö. Shortly thereafter she released her single «Säg det först», which was picked up by Swedish radio P4 Kronoberg and online magazine Popmuzik called it “a wonderfully captivating pop song, with a nicely pulsating production”.

2022 Joselin participated in the TV show Idol Sweden and won a golden ticket with her original song If I Had A Weapon, a song Popmuzik calls “atmospheric and dreamy”. She also won P4 Nästa Kronoberg, with the song «Excuses» which reached the regional P4 station’s Top 10 charts.

September 2022 Joselin moved to Örnsköldsvik where she is enrolled in the two-year-program Musikmakarna / Songwriters Academy of Sweden. In June 2023 Joselin won P4 Nästa Västernorrland with her song «BRB», as well as moved to Stockholm for her second year of studies with Musikmakarna. Music blog Pop Passion interviewed Joselin about the background of the song «BRB». Summer 2023 Swedish radio P4 announced that Joselin reached the national finals for P4 Nästa and she performed on stage September 1 st , with the other finalists, and guest stars such as Cornelia Jakobs and Nordmann. See Joselin’s live performance on YouTube. During the finals Joselin’s synesthesia was in focus as the moderator and Joselin having fun identifying what colors that certain music sounds like. When growing up, Joselin always believed that everyone experienced fireworks of colors whenever music is played, but learned later on that this phenomenon is only experienced by a small minority.

Later in September Joselin released her single «Love You Like I Did» which was selected for Spotify’s list New Music Friday-Sweden, as well as GRL PWR The Nordic Queendom of Pop. Popmuzik also included the song in their weekly list of favorite releases. With Joselin being played nationally on radio, and being selected for major editorial Spotify lists, Joselin reached a new milestone, with 20.000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Joselin’s December 2023 release of Painkiller was well received with 370.000 views on TikTok as well as inclusion in multiple major Spotify editorial lists such as Friday New Music-Sweden, Made in Sweden and Ny Pop.
